Been dealing with an unusual amount of returns this year, so I actually decided to refund this buyer without waiting for him to ship the item back, because I really didn't want it back. He was a repeat buyer but would constantly message me with too many questions (including asking for discounts) so on the bright side I now have a reason to finally block him, and speaking of reason, he actually wanted to return the item because it HAD MARKS. Description stated the item may have some because it's pre-owned, and the marks he so doesn't like are clearly shown on the photos! Many of the items I sell have marks! The buyer clearly didn't pay any attention to the information I provided to prevent things like this, and now I'm out of an item that could have gone to someone else who would actually enjoy it. Sellers beware if you sell many Pokemon figures!

Incredibly dishonest and disingenuous buyer. Buyer bought bulk of salvage items, explicitly chose option of cheapest shipping available, was given explicit warning that using that method might result in minor cosmetic damage to items, then opened an i"item defective" case case when lo and behold, minor cosmetic damage occurred. Also straight up lied about the condition of box and the amount of packing used, including staged photo of box with about 75% of the packing material removed, and claimed it was received that way.

This buyer runs an AirPods Pro parts store and is buying AirPods Pro, claiming they're defective and then returning it while reselling the good ones.

Used networking equipment

Another buyer ID for a reseller company in Plano Texas (North of Dallas) that purchases tech on eBay for good prices. They then extort the seller into lowering the price further by making something up about the condition. Finally they sell your item for a substantial profit. The negative feedback left under each account is 100s of entries long. Also operates under IDs jocy51 & kebapci. Sales go to Sity Communications or Pexbo at 4050 Premier Ste 100.

I sold a patch for $9.95 to David S Lee Reno NV. I was having trouble finding the patch so I emailed and asked him if he wanted to wait a little longer to give me some time to fullfill the order. He stated to cancel the order and ended up leaving me a negative feedback. Seems as though he leaves many negatives. I remember ebay stating they would not allow a buyer to abuse the FB system but I guess ebay is not true to their word. In any case avoid this user.

Same user as jocy51 I listed a few entries down. Purchases technology and electronics and then looks for a reason for a discount. Claims the box was damaged or incorrect order quantity or it's dirty. If you do not cooperate with a 50% discount they leave negative feedback. Buyer is an electronics reseller near Dallas Texas always trying to reduce their cost basis on item acquiring.

Buyer has been leaving negative feedback for fun to multiple sellers including myself. They pretend to not read item description and then leave negative feedback. They also do not return your item.

Images clearley show how the item fitted and the lego falcon would of displayed on the wall, the buyer said they didnt like how it displayed and wanted to return it saying it was a bad design and poor qualityu when they admited they didnt like how it displayed when fitted. - the auction had 10 images that show exactley how it displays on the wall this buyer then threatened negative feedback if we didnt refund them! buyers like this need to be banned from ebay! they are missusing the returns policy and think they can buy something then look at it and if they dont like it return it at the sellers costs!!

Bought an item from me. I cancelled the order regardless of any eBay consequence after I checked buyer's feedback. Feedback left for others and it's dozens, maybe a hundred negative marks for sellers. This buyer is definitely into seller extortion for partial refunds and/or full refunds via eBay cases. "item arrived damaged", "item arrived dirty", "bought two only one shipped" and many many more.

This guy paid very quickly and push the seller ship the items. I state very clearly no return, but after 10 days he received, he will start to file a return case w Ebay directly by radicular excuses. I sold 4 items to him, he return the item one by one. He knows the Ebay return policy and Fauld many sellers. If the seller not provide the return label, he left bad feedback.

Buyer account created less than a month ago. They already have 63 buyer feedback, so lots of orders. Many negative feedbacks left for sellers, where this buyer tried to get item plus full refund. They purchased 4 pair earrings from me on 1/16, I shipped on 1/18 (one day earlier than required), while in transit , after 5 days lied and complained items were 2 weeks late, requesting full refund. Tracking shows delay is either address or a forwarding order. (as well as there being weather related delays) Confirmed address sent to matched theirs exactly (sent thru eBay using USPS). Checked address online and see a 2-4 unit building, yet they used Unit #108, phone number is for TX while address is Chicago, IL. Buyer complained about lack of response, when all emails answered same day. They apparently are churning out orders fast and hoping sellers or eBay give them item and their money back for as many times as they can before account is banned.

Buyer purchased 2 x unique discount voucher codes messaged after using 1 saying it was giving them a warning about duplicate purchase - we responded giving advise how they need to either tick the box saying its not duplicate purchase or clear cache etc they didn't reply then 2 days past messaged demanding a refund and now left negative feedback saying the codes didn't work when they messages saying they did 0 and we checked the codes and they have been used!

Buyer opened a return request because of defective item. The return item is abused, scratched, bent, and damaged with broken pieces. We tested it and it worked fine.
When we asked him about the damage, why not report it when receiving. He replied it arrived damaged and was ok with him. ummm ????
For a return request because of defect, a refund of full payment must be issued. eBay has an option to report a buyer. We did not bother it as eBay sides with buyers 100%. any way.
We saved the messages and just moved on.

Additionally the buyer sent abusive and threatening messages. Reported to eBay, but per usual nothing was done and the feedback was not removed even though the buyer lied.

Buyer ordered a vintage camera lens from me, which was confirmed delivered safely. Three weeks later, opened a chargeback, claiming "didn't recognize transaction." Looking at buyer's feedback history, he has bought literally -hundreds- of items in the EXACT same category going back several years, so a claim that he didn't buy this particular item at this time strains credulity, especially when HE HAS IT IN HIS POSSESSION. Believe he is initiating false chargebacks in order to get free items.

Velcro

This buyer is an experienced seller and therefore should know better. He leaves negative feedback on almost all of his purchases. The title of my item sold to him clearly stated the dimensions, but because one of the pictures displayed the cover of a roll of Velcro, he thinks he should have received a complete roll worth $150 for the $16 he spent. So he obviously knows how to lie and get a free return with the money back guarantee and cost me both ways in shipping. He will be only partially refunded for 50%.

They asked the buyer to upload a photo of the damaged product and we would immediately issue a full refund, but the buyer immediately left a negative review, claiming that the seller refused to accept returns.
Since then, we have left multiple messages to the buyer, telling him that as long as he provides photos of the damaged goods, we will immediately issue a full refund.
This buyer provided information similar to this in a text format with a filename of ****.jpg, and then claimed to have provided the photo.

Fine Watch

The buyer purchased a $500+ swiss automatic watch, brand new and fully functional, tested prior shipping. Opened a return request claiming the watch is not working and defective.
We received a broken watch back and our watchmaker concluded is has been damaged by the buyer or even more likely, some parts of the movement were replaced.
Since they claimed via email that"he has another one" its almost certain he replaced parts of the movement with defective ones.

Doesn't appreciate of providing a good customer service. When I was just confirming things with him especially returns and packaging of his purchase. He's get all defensive saying "I'm not agreeing to anything outside of the eBay terms agreements." Then I pointed out that what I was doing is within eBay terms of agreement. Also, telling him that I'm just trying to provide good customer service by providing a courtesy beneficial for a buyer as well as me as a seller to ensure mutual agreement on the packaging for shipping. His response: "I don't really need this item or your condescending attitude." Wished I could cancel his transactions but eBay would still able problematic buyer like him to still leave a feedback. I'm confident he would leave a negative feedback. Don't waste your time on this guy. Not worth doing business with.
