| Problem Summary: | Buyer with all of one positive feedback purchased item, and shipping label was created. Buyer later put in cancel request ("bought by mistake"), or as she called it, a "claim, " and when the system automatically generated a message saying the cancellation request couldn't be done, as it does when a label already exists in the system, this entitled Karen blew her top and sent a rude, condescending message about how she "expected better customer service."
In effect, she was mad that the item was processed quickly and that she thought she wouldn't be able to renege on her binding purchase.
This all happened after business hours, and if she had just waited until the morning, she would have seen that I would be happy to cancel the order, since I don't try to make it a business practice to send people items that they don't actually want. |
